Job Title: Press Brake OperatorJob DescriptionThe Press Brake Operator will be part of a manufacturing cell team responsible for setting up and operating CNC brake press equipment to form metal components according to quality and production standards. This role offers opportunities for skill development in operating an insert machine, fabrication assembly, and other fabrication operations as part of a long-term development plan.
Responsibilities
- Form a variety of steel components using CNC brake presses.
- Flex to inserting, fabrication assembly, and other fabrication operations based on workload.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, understanding both standard and metric dimensions.
- Verify parts against print requirements and ensure the accuracy of other operators work.
- Adhere to all safety policies.
- Maintain an organized workplace through good housekeeping efforts.
Essential Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Press Brake operations.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in reading blueprints.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with fabrication, sheet metal fabrication, punch press, laser machines, machine setup.
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based on the 1st shift, working Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, with optional half-day Saturdays. The work environment is clean, relatively loud, and includes approximately 20 people on the floor.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $52000.00/yr.
