Job Title: Machine OperatorShift 6PM-6AM (Sunday-Wednesday OR Wednesday-Saturday)Pay: $21.50/hourJob DescriptionThis role operates high-speed production machinery on a fast-paced food manufacturing line to produce pizza products safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. You will work with mechanical equipment, perform basic inspections, and support overall production flow in a large-scale food plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery on a fast-paced pizza manufacturing line according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor machine performance during operation and make basic adjustments to maintain consistent output and product quality.
• Perform visual inspections of products and components to identify defects, irregularities, or quality issues.
• Read and interpret basic production documentation and blueprints as needed to follow specifications and setup requirements.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and ensure products meet required tolerances.
• Assist with general production tasks, including material handling, staging, and organizing components for the line.
• Support routine machine checks and basic mechanical troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety and plant housekeeping standards.
• Follow all safety, quality, and sanitation procedures required in a food production environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain smooth line operations.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience working in a production environment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production machinery.
• Ability to operate and monitor machines in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Experience performing general labor and general production tasks.
• Ability to perform product inspection to identify defects and quality issues.
• Capability to read and understand basic blueprints or production documentation.
• Skill in using calipers and other basic measuring tools for quality checks.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to consistently follow safety, quality, and food handling procedures.

• Experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or food production facility.

Current openings are on 8 MO1 D Shift 6:30pm-6:30am Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat Shift D Crew (every other Wednesday through Saturday) 6:00 p.m. 6:30 a.m. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Salina, KS.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39000.00 - $43160.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.401K
