Band 5 Clinical Trial Coordinator -- REACT
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Clinical Trial Coordinator to join REACT (Research in Emergency and Acute Care Team).
REACT delivers research across acute care specialities, including Critical Care, Trauma and Stroke. The team supports a varied portfolio of studies, including CTIMPs, medical device trials, and observational research.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating clinical trial set up, liaising with study sponsors, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure studies are set up within the national 150 day target
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. You should be confident using Microsoft Office and other IT systems associated with clinical research. Experience in clinical trial or research data management within a healthcare setting is essential, along with a working knowledge of ICH GCP and relevant research legislation.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
* O' Levels / 'GCSE's specifically English and maths at grade C or above * Educated to degree level or diploma level plus relevant experience to degree level. * Knowledge of International Council for Harmonisation of Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP)
Experience Essential
* Significant relevant experience in clinical trial /research data management * Experience of research in a healthcare setting * Understanding of current legislation regarding research Governance Issues

* Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative * Ability to communicate with all staff and patient groups * Ability to demonstrate a degree of resilience when communicating new concepts or work practices to others. * Ability to work under pressure, prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines. * Excellent organisational skills and administrative ability. * Problem-solving ability. * IT literate -- MS office skills. including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to interpret data * Ability to analyse and report data in a format which is consistent with the needs of the audience. * Evidence of accuracy and detail in data collection * Work well as a member of a team * Travel as required by the Trust research location across the organisation. * Work flexibly to meet service demands.
