We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP (6 sessions per week) to join our friendly and supportive team at Bron Derw Medical Centre. You will be supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team and GP partnership.

Main duties of the job

As a Salaried GP we are looking for 6 sessions per week, providing a mix of face to face and telephone consultations, including routine and same day appointments, together with the associated clinical administration. Good time management is required and the ability to review test results and clinical correspondence, undertake home visits and care home reviews associated with the job plan. You will report to the GP partners and Practice Manager and work closely with the wider clinical and administrative team to deliver safe, highq uality care in line with practice policies and NHS Wales guidance. Key responsibilities include clinical assessment and management of patients in primary care, appropriate referral and liaison with secondary care and community and third party services, and contributing to practice quality improvement activity such as audits, significant event reviews and cluster projects. We provide a supportive induction tailored to your experience, with ongoing inhouse training, regular clinical meetings and opportunities to develop special interests in line with practice and cluster priorities.

We are a 3 GP partner run practice: Dr Bethan Jones, Dr Michael Barker and Dr Andrew Kempster, based at Bron Derw Medical Centre located in the beautiful scenic North Wales. Our purpose-built medical centre was built in 2003 and is fully DDA compliant with accessible parking and a patient carpark.
