Job summary
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our dispensary. You'll tailor conversations with every customer to help them feel informed and confident about their healthcare needs, while maintaining a professional and organised environment.
You'll be responsible for:
Dispensing outpatient and blister pack prescriptions accurately and efficiently.Managing stock, including rotation and ordering, and liaising with procurement teams.Processing private prescriptions and handling associated documentation.Supporting the training of new pharmacy assistants.Ensuring compliance with SSL policies and standard operating procedures.If you'd like to contribute to a service that directly impacts patient care and recovery, please apply now!
Main duties of the job
Dispense prescriptions accurately for in patients and outpatient clinics and will assist in a range of other Dispensary related duties as required.
You will carry out a medicines top-up service on wards and will assist with other medicines related duties i.e. medicines expiry checks, stock checks and returning medicines.
Receiving deliveries of pharmaceutical goods to support the store person.

Good general education to include Science, Maths and English at grades A* to C. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience accredited by GPhC
