Are you a skilled mechanical engineer looking to make a real difference in a healthcare setting? Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Craftsperson to join our dedicated Estates & Facilities team.
This role offers a Recruitment and Retention Payment of £3500 per year.
Main duties of the job
Delivering front-line maintenance, breakdown response, and planned preventative tasks across the hospital estate.Carrying out mechanical repairs, minor improvements, and capital works.Ensuring compliance with Health Technical Memorandums (HTMs) and Trust safety standards.Participating in the on-call rota to respond to emergency repairs outside normal hours.Supporting statutory compliance through inspections, commissioning tests, and documentation.Supervising contractors and liaising with specialist maintenance providers.Apply today and help us maintain a safe and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
