Warehouse Associate

Position Summary
Aerotek is hiring Warehouse Associates for a growing distribution facility in Charlotte, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with a company that values hard work, promotes from within, and offers long-term career growth. This is an entry-level warehouse position where you'll primarily be packing orders, preparing shipments, scanning products, and helping keep the warehouse organized. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but reliable candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Pack customer orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Scan products and update inventory using handheld barcode scanners.
- Pick products for customer orders as needed.
- Label, sort, and prepare packages for shipping.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory organization and cycle counts.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
Required
- Ability to stand, walk, and stay active throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, picking, packing, or inventory experience.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
- Forklift or cherry picker experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a newer warehouse facility with a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. Most associates start by packing orders and learning warehouse processes before expanding into additional responsibilities such as picking, inventory, equipment operation, and other advancement opportunities. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
