Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic dietitian with a good range of experience in paediatrics, who is keen to develop their skills further within a large, well established dietetic team. The role will cover the paediatric inpatient ward and outpatient clinics. You will work alongside a band 7 in covering the ward and within a team of 10 paediatric dietitians across Northwick Park and Ealing Hospital.
You will need excellent communication skills to build rapport with children and young adults and their families. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in working with children and young adults in different setting.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dietitian with strong organisational and team working skills, who is focused on providing a high-quality dietetic service which is responsive to the changing needs of the NHS and their patients.
You would be joining a proactive, friendly department of acute dietitians and dietetic assistants, with good clerical support. We have dietitians based at Northwick Park, Ealing and Central Middlesex (St Marks) hospitals. This post is based at Northwick Park Hospital.
This post involves supervision of students in the clinical areas and we are a well established student trainer, providing placements 2 and 3. Furthermore, we are committed to regular CPD and undertaking audits, and have a wide range of evidenced based groups which meet on a regular basis.
