An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Fast Track Fee Earner to join its growing claimant Personal Injury team. Offering a salary of up to £30,278 and predominantly remote working, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MOJ Portal professional looking to take ownership of their caseload within an established legal team.
CRA Consulting is managing this recruitment campaign on behalf of the firm and welcomes applications from experienced fee earners with a minimum of five years' MOJ Portal experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing your own caseload of non-infant Fast Track claims from initial instruction through to settlement, ensuring matters progress efficiently while maintaining excellent standards of client care.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a high-volume caseload of non-infant Fast Track claims.
- Progress claims through the MOJ Portal from initial instruction through to settlement.
- Assess liability, quantum and supporting evidence to establish the strength of each claim.
- Obtain, review and evaluate medical reports and other supporting documentation.
- Negotiate settlements and work towards achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Liaise with clients, insurers, medical experts and other relevant third parties.
- Draft legal correspondence and prepare relevant claim documentation.
- Maintain accurate case management records and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and internal quality standards.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of five years' experience handling MOJ Portal claims.
- Strong background in claimant Personal Injury litigation.
- Proven experience independently managing a Fast Track caseload.
- Excellent knowledge of the MOJ Portal process and relevant litigation procedures.
- Confidence assessing liability, quantum and medical evidence.
- Strong negotiation, communication and client-care skills.
- Experience using legal case management systems.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
