About the Role

  • Based in Sydney, with a Perth location considered for the right candidate
  • Full-time permanent position
  • Free Parking onsite
  • Competitive salary package This is not a role for someone who just reports numbers. Pulling data into a spreadsheet is only the starting point. We're looking for someone who can explain what it means. This role sits at the centre of Finance, Commercial, Pricing and Operations. You'll be expected to turn large volumes of financial and operational data into clear insights that help the business make better decisions. You'll challenge assumptions, identify trends, spot opportunities and provide the analysis that influences decisions across a national portfolio. This role is about going beyond producing reports. If you're naturally curious, commercially minded and enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers, keep reading.

What the role actually involves Turning data into commercial decisions You'll work across one of Australia's largest parking portfolios, analysing financial and operational performance across leased and managed assets nationally. Revenue trends, occupancy movements, yield performance, profitability, lease costs and portfolio outcomes will all sit within your world. More importantly, you'll help stakeholders understand what they're looking at and what actions should follow.

Building reporting people actually use There is no shortage of data within Wilson Parking. The challenge is transforming it into meaningful information. You'll develop reporting frameworks, scorecards, dashboards and performance packs that provide stakeholders with a consistent view of business performance. You'll work closely with Finance, Commercial and Business Intelligence teams to improve reporting quality and eliminate unnecessary manual processes.

Bringing multiple data sources together Much of the value in this role comes from connecting information that currently lives in different places. You'll work across financial, operational and asset management systems to create reliable sources of truth that support decision-making nationally. You'll constantly be looking for ways to improve data quality, automate reporting and create more efficient processes.

Supporting strategic projects and business initiatives Whether it's a pricing initiative, portfolio review, landlord discussion, forecasting exercise or commercial project, you'll provide the financial analysis and modelling needed to support decision-making. You'll be involved in conversations that influence how the business grows, performs and invests.

Communicating with senior stakeholders You'll regularly partner with Finance Business Partners, Commercial leaders, Pricing teams, General Managers and executive stakeholders. The ability to explain complex analysis in a clear and practical way is just as important as your technical capability. Strong analysis that nobody understands isn't useful.
