Zero Grazing Systems Limited T/A Zero Grazer are currently recruiting 2 Maintenance Fitters for their site located at Kilnaleck Co Cavan.A Maintenance Fitter would be responsible for installing and maintaining machinery, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities of the role:•
Machinery Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, service, and repair specialized zero-grazing machinery, mowers, feed conveyors, tractors, and associated agricultural plant equipment. •
Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems: Troubleshoot and fix complex hydraulic drives, PTO shafts, gearboxes, and pneumatic control components integral to zero-grazing units. •
Welding & Fabrication: Carry out metal fabrication, cutting, and MIG/arc welding repairs on steel chassis, cutting decks, and elevator components. •
Preventative Maintenance: Execute scheduled servicing plans to minimize in-season breakdowns and operational downtime.•
Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain accurate repair logs, manage spare parts inventory, and strictly adhere to health and safety regulations.A minimum of 1–2 years experience in a similar role essential.
