Conventional Turner C&M is looking for a conventional turner for DMI (Defence Materiel Sustainment Directorate) of the Royal Navy in Den Helder. Job description
If Conventional Turner you work with precision on unique customized products. You use your technical knowledge and skills to manufacture parts based on product drawings.
Your activities consist of
- Turning metal parts with conventional lathes
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Carrying out quality controls and monitoring dimensional tolerances
- Thinking about improvements in the production process

- A completed course LTS/SOM/MBO-2 towards Metal
- Knowledge of metalworking, specifically conventional turning
- Experience with reading and interpreting technical drawings
- An eye for detail and a precise working attitude
