About this role
Arcona Developments Limited require 4 Plasterers for its construction at Arcona Developments, Crowsgrove, Kildavin, Co. Carlow. The salary range starts from €36,605 based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
- Key ResponsibilitiesApply a range of external render systems including: Sand & CementMonocouche RendersAcrylic FinishesSilicone-Based FinishesExternal Insulation & ICF Rendering SystemsPrepare surfaces including cleaning, bonding, base coat application, and mesh installation.
- Produce consistent, high-quality finishes across all façade elements.
- Follow manufacturer specifications, technical details, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate effectively with site management and other trades.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Identify and report substrate, detailing, or workmanship issues.
- Complete works within project programmes and agreed deadlines.
- Skills & ExperienceEssentialProven experience as an External Wall Plasterer / Renderer on residential or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of modern rendering systems.
- Experience working with External Insulation and ICF systems.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong awareness of site Health & Safety requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good spoken and written English.DesirableExperience with machine-applied rendering systems. Relevant trade qualification.MEWP / Working at Heights certification.
