Dublin, D24 EA0EThe salary offered is €36,605 (18.77/hr) based on a 37.5-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.
Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.We are looking for a highly motivated Motor Vehicle Technician to join our accident repair team.
You will inspect, diagnose and repair accident-damaged vehicles to a high standard, follow repair instructions, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.ResponsibilitiesAssess accident damage and carry out repairs to a high standardCarry out general bodywork repairs, including panel work and paint preparationUse tools and materials safely and follow safety protocols when handling hazardous materialsPerform routine maintenance and inspections on equipmentUpdate job packs and keep accurate records on vehicles being worked onNotify the foreman or office of any issues encountered with jobsCommunicate politely and effectively with colleagues and customersBe accountable for your own work, meet set deadlines and perform under pressureRequirementsMinimum 3 years’ experience as a motor vehicle technician, ideally in body and paint or accident repairStrong knowledge of bodywork repairs, with confidence in panel work and paint preparationExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood teamwork and communication skillsGood command of the English language
