- This position is within the property industry and based near Ternat.
- Jobomschrijving Reporting to the Accounting Manager, your responsibilities will include: Monitoring and analysing operational expenses and project-related costs.
- Managing and overseeing the invoice and purchase order cycle.
- Reviewing accounting entries, allocations, and VAT-related controls.
- Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.
- Performing variance analysis and preparing financial reporting for key stakeholders.
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
- Contributing to process improvements, financial systems enhancements, and European-wide projects.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive transparency, efficiency, and cost optimisation.
- Supporting knowledge-sharing and collaboration within the finance team.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Previous experience within a services, retail, or similar operational environment.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
- Experience with SAP; S4Hana knowledge is considered a strong asset.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP standards is an advantage.
- Fluent English communication skills; additional European languages are a plus.
- Analytical, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
