Are you looking to kick start your career as a Joiner? Are you based in or near the Wirral? We are looking for a Joinery apprentice to work on a 24 month fixed term basis, working 40 hours per week. The salary is based upon the National Minimum Age for apprentices.

Attend training and work toward your craft qualification, which will include:Repair/ renew ceiling and floor joists, stairs, studding, partition walls, T&G or sheet flooringRepair/ renew doors and doo casing, skirting, handrails, balustrades, pipe boards and ducting panellingRepair/ renew kitchen units, work tops and decorative finishesRepair/ replace ironmongery to doors and windowsDeglaze/ Reglaze timber fencing and gatesCommunicate with clients to arrange and carry out workLeave homes clean and safe, collecting tenant signatures after jobsSupport colleagues and build relationships across the businessSafely operate tools, machinery, and vehiclesKeep accurate records of work and materials usedFollow safety procedures, including reporting hazardsComplete paperwork accurately and ensure customer satisfactionWork flexibly, including out-of-hours if needed, and follow all health and safety guidelines What We Need from You:
Have a genuine interest in working in Joinery16- 18-year-old Level 4 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2) 19+ Level 2 in English & Maths (C Grade or above or functional skills level 2)Have a positive approach to completing relevant courses and qualificationsFlexibility and a positive attitude towards varied work and schedulesExcellent customer service skills and punctualityAbility to demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
