Mount Vernon Community School District is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic individual to serve as a 7th Grade Science Teacher for the 2027–2028 school year. We are looking for a dynamic educator who understands that student achievement and teacher effectiveness are critical to learning, and who can motivate and engage students in the classroom.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must hold a valid Iowa teaching license with the required science endorsements.
- A desire to challenge the status quo and facilitate a student-centered learning experience.
- Strong commitment to building positive relationships with students, staff, and community members.
- High level of innovation and a strong willingness to collaborate.
