The Floyd County School Board in Virginia is now accepting applications for a substitute position, which is available within our division. Once you have applied to our substitute posting, your application will be screened, and an appointment will be set up to complete the onboarding paperwork. Applicants are selected based on the needs of the division.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The substitute assumes the responsibilities of the regular employee when that employee is absent from work.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Substitute Nurse – must be a LPN or RN with a current Virginia License.
FLSA: Non-Exempt
DAILY PAY RATES
- The first 20 days of long-term sub nurse would be paid at $125/day.
- If the sub is an LPN, the rate would move to $150/day on day 21.
- If the sub is an RN, the rate would move to $175/day on day 21.
