Hours of Work 4-8:30pm Rotating schedule Typical duties and responsibilities includeAdhering to policies and procedures established by Pine LodgeEngaging and developing therapeutic relationships with clientsDeveloping case plans for clients incorporating a holistic model of recoveryTriaging, screening, and assessing client needs to complete initial assessmentsPreparing, organizing, and facilitating client educational sessionsProviding counselling and facilitating psycho educational groupsassessing for suicidal risk and provide crisis managementArranging and participating in case conferences, and otherrelevant meetings with collateral agencies and significant othersProviding orientation to clients as part of the admission processAssisting in the collection of statistical data Maintaining accurate and current case notes and files, completingincident reports as requiredCarry out other duties as may be assigned Educational RequirementsDiploma or Degree in MH/Addictions, Chemical Dependency, Addictions Counselling, or another human services field acceptable to the employer (Psychology, Sociology, Psychiatric Nursing, Human Justice).
