We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Casual Driver to join our team. This is a new 2-day a week position within the CUPE Local 4670. This part-time role is ideal for a retired individual who values supporting people in recovery. The position involves working two days a week in a unionized environment, transporting clients to and from appointments, and accompanying them during these appointments to provide support and ensure their safety. Key Responsibilities Safely transport clients to and from medical, counselling, and other scheduled appointments. Accompany clients during appointments to offer support and guidance. Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients and staff. Maintain a professional and welcoming manner at all times. Complete basic logs of trips and client interactions as required. Qualifications Valid Class 5 drivers license Novice 2 (or equivalent). Clean driving abstract with no recent violations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and show discretion. This role is well-suited to retirees looking for meaningful part-time work. Training and Assets First Aid CPR, De-escalation, and Narcan training are considered assets. Training in these areas will be provided if not already obtained
