Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Intermediate Accountant performs customer billings and accounts payable duties for Athabasca Catering Partnership Limited (ACLP) and its group of companies. We are a rapidly growing organization with a diverse and dynamic workforce. NOTE: This is a strictly in-person position; there is NO option to work remotely. Duties and Responsibilities:- Billing for related and unrelated companies.- Accounts payable for related and unrelated companies.- Inventory clearing account reconciliation for all entities.- Inter-Company transaction reconciliations in advance of month end close and prepare to pay these out.- Successfully manage a large volume of time-sensitive work, with a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced setting.- Prepare bank deposits as required.- Adherence to ACLPs procedures, processes, & standards as required.- Provide a high standard of support to our internal & external stakeholders.- Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications:- Post-secondary two-year Business diploma from a recognized institution. An acceptable combination of education, experience, and training may also be considered.- Two (2) to Three (3) years experience working with Sage 300 and Excel in an office environment is considered an asset.- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory processes and procedures.- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and within a team setting.- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders at all levels.- Ability to safely travel and occasionally visit our remote work sites, via flying or drive-in transportation.
