Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable *Dental Floater / Receptionist* to support front-desk operations, administrative duties, and clinical team coordination in our dental office.
The successful candidate will be comfortable transitioning between reception responsibilities and supporting the dental team as needed. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent patient service, and helping ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Clear communication, attention to detail, and a positive, team-oriented attitude are essential to creating a welcoming experience for patients and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, support front-desk check-in, and help coordinate routine office flow.
- Answer and route calls using multi-line phone systems, sharing clear information and directing questions appropriately.
- Support the dental team with clinical assisting and other duties as needed.
- Assist with scheduling and other reception tasks, adapting to changing priorities across the office.
Qualifications
- Previous Canadian work experience in dental reception, dental assisting, or a dental floater position.
- Familiarity with dental terminology, front-desk procedures, and daily dental office operations.
- Experience using dental practice management software. Familiarity with *Tracker dental software and RecallMax* is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of appointment scheduling, patient records management, and multi-line phone systems.
- Experience supporting both administrative and clinical operations in a dental office.
- Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
