Your Role and Impact
We are looking for an entry-level GL Accountant – Fixed Assets Associate to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to start or develop your accounting career in a global, multicultural environment.
In this role, you will support fixed asset accounting activities, contribute to accurate financial reporting, and participate in month-end closing processes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support fixed asset accounting and processing activities.
- Communicate with sites on fixed asset-related matters.
- Assist with monthly fixed asset reporting.
- Reconcile selected general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and post journal entries.
- Support month-end closing and financial consolidation activities.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Create and maintain process documentation.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Up to one year of relevant experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Hungarian.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Confident MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Analytical, accurate, and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle.
- Previous experience in a multinational or shared-services environment.
- Exposure to fixed asset accounting processes.
