Your Role and Impact
As a Master Data Administrator, you will support accurate and timely accounting operations within Flowserve’s global Finance organization. Working closely with the General Accounting team and key stakeholders, you will help maintain reliable financial data, support month-end closing activities, and contribute to strong financial controls and continuous process improvement.
Your attention to detail and analytical approach will help ensure high-quality reporting, accurate reconciliations, and effective resolution of accounting-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in assigned accounting activities and month-end closing processes in accordance with US GAAP.
- Perform accounting activities in close collaboration with the wider Finance team.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports and support colleagues within the General Accounting team.
- Perform month-end closing activities, General Ledger account analysis, and Balance Sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare and document SOX controls.
- Maintain regular contact with vendors and customers regarding fixed-asset-related matters.
- Assist in resolving issues that could affect the timely completion of month-end closing.
- Support accurate financial reporting and maintain high-quality accounting documentation.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive, relationship-oriented approach.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing processes and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge and experience using ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, or comparable platforms.
