Job Description
- Ensures production volume, cost and quality of production and production schedules are met.
- Organizes material flows and inventory to reach production targets.
- Constantly monitors production processes and staffing levels and implements production schedules, methods, and processes.
- Identifies problems and proposes solutions and/or improvements of the production process.
- Focuses on implementing and executing strategies within production operations.
- Maintains compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Receives assignments in the form objectives with goals and the process by which to meet goals.
- Directs subordinates on predetermined work assignments which are completed using established guidelines, procedures and policies.
- Supervises Support track employees and may occasionally perform similar work as their subordinates.
