Are you a commercially minded business builder with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for food innovation? We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the growth and profitability of our high-protein food category within the Food Division. You will develop existing products and lead new product opportunities from concept to launch, while expanding our international markets and channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement the category strategy to deliver sales growth, market expansion and profitability. Manage the existing product portfolio and identify opportunities for new high-protein foods, from concept and product development to market launch, in close cooperation with R&D and cross-functional teams. Identify new markets, customers and distribution channels; support international sales teams and develop effective business models and partnerships. Drive pricing and portfolio decisions, monitor sales, margins and P&L, and ensure delivery against approved business plans. Work with Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Production and Supply Chain to optimise product performance, costs and launch execution.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing within the FMCG industry is required; experience in category/portfolio management and business development is an advantage. University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or a related field. Strong commercial and financial acumen, including understanding of P&L, pricing and profitability. Strategic and analytical thinking, project management, negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills. English proficiency at C1 level or above; good MS Office skills and a driving licence. Willingness to travel internationally.
