About this role
B.Com with strong practical experience in reporting for 0 to 2 years. Should have good understanding of GAAP and accounting principles and procedures. Requires the knowledge and ability to prepare financial statements and related reports, investigate problems and organize projects with experience in SAP preferred. Should have ability to understand the significance of various activities in an statutory/GAAP accounting close month end cycle with effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP/accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle; experience with procurement and expense-management tools is an advantage.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting.
- Understanding of internal controls, approval matrices, segregation of duties, and audit requirements.
- Ability to manage deadlines, payment cut-offs, multiple priorities, and high transaction volumes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Practical experience in Accounts Payable, P2P, or Finance & Accounting operations preferred.
- Experience working in a shared-services/BPO environment and handling supplier invoices, payments, reconciliations, and queries is an advantage.
