Inventory Control Associate

Location: Calgary, ABShift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMJob Type: Contract-to-Hire

About the Opportunity

A growing manufacturing organization in Calgary is seeking Inventory Control Associates to support warehouse operations and a large-scale inventory consolidation project. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to grow within a stable organization while gaining experience in inventory management, shipping/receiving, and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counting and inventory adjustments.
• Accurately track and document material movements within the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Support shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and material handling activities.
• Receive and process incoming inventory from suppliers.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions.
• Update inventory records and maintain data accuracy using Excel and other systems.
• Assist with warehouse consolidation projects and material transfers between facilities.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs when required.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 1 year of inventory control experience.
• Minimum 1 year of WMS and data entry experience.
• Minimum 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred

• RF scanner experience.
• Order picking experience.
• Sit-down forklift or cherry picker experience.
• Small parts inventory experience.
• International shipping experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
