Salary: £30,000 - 32,000 per year
Requirements
- Some hands-on experience in manual software testing, such as in a Software Tester, QA Tester, Test Analyst or UAT role
- Comfortable writing test scripts, identifying and tracking bugs, and working with developers to resolve issues
- Good attention to detail, a logical approach to problem-solving, and willingness to learn and develop
- Exposure to Agile environments, SQL or test management tools is beneficial but not essential
Responsibilities
- Read requirements and create and execute manual test scripts
- Identify and log defects, then retest after issues have been resolved
- Carry out regression testing to check that changes have not affected existing functionality
- Occasionally support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Work with Developers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to test internal software systems and new functionality
