Requirements
- We require DV clearance.
- We require expertise in CCTV, access control and public address systems, with familiarity with Hanwha, Ipro, Hirsch/Identiv, ASL/Zenitel and Bosch (Presidio) systems.
- We require experience installing metallic and PVC containment systems, premises cabling and infrastructure.
- We require demonstrable experience installing one or more of automated access control, CCTV, public address systems, and data cabling and infrastructure to a high standard in secure environments and to government security standards.
- We require an understanding of electrical testing and requirements.
- We require a Level 3 qualification in an electrical or electronic field, comprising a minimum of 6–12 relevant units in the electrotechnical cadre.
- We require an SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification.
- We require the ability to interpret, analyse and explain technical drawings and data.
- We require the ability to develop and implement safe systems of work, support staff in undertaking risk assessments, and ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
- We require a current ECS card at installation/approved competency level.
Responsibilities
- Complete material take-offs.
- Support the ordering of equipment.
- Test systems before deployment.
- Prepare equipment and tools for dispatch.
- Produce health and safety documentation.
- Carry out installation work in secure environments, using expertise in one or more of access control, CCTV, public address, data cabling and infrastructure.
