Salary: £47,000 - 52,000 per year
Requirements
- Experience analysing complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and opportunities, and translating findings into actionable insight and evidence-based recommendations
- Experience developing reports, dashboards and data visualisations using Power BI or similar business intelligence tools
- Experience extracting, querying, transforming, validating and manipulating data from multiple sources using SQL or other appropriate analytical and data management tools
- Experience working with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful analysis and insights
- Strong data interrogation and analysis skills, including the ability to work with data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy, quality and integrity
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Student Support and other student-facing services to understand their priorities, challenges and opportunities for using data and insight
- Analyse student lifecycle data to identify trends, patterns, risks and opportunities relating to student engagement, retention, continuation, completion and outcomes
- Use diagnostic and evaluative analytical techniques to identify drivers of student outcomes and support proactive interventions
- Work with stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of student support initiatives and interventions, linking activity to subsequent student outcomes wherever possible
- Translate stakeholder questions and operational challenges into appropriate analytical approaches, measures and reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support operational decision-making, performance monitoring and evaluation
