About this role
Are you an experienced leader in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial operations? We're seeking a Production Supervisor to lead teams, drive performance, and support daily operations in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach production employees to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Monitor daily operations and address production issues as they arise
- Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork
- Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and workforce needs
- Support quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with employees, leadership, and cross-functional teams
- Assist with employee timekeeping, attendance, and production reporting
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, distribution, or industrial environment
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced operation
- Experience driving productivity, safety, and employee engagement
- Flexible to work overtime, weekends, and varying shifts as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
- Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience
- Experience in high-volume production environments

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
