Warehouse Worker @ Aerotek

Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on staging boxes and shipments in a busy distribution center so they are organized and ready to be loaded efficiently onto trucks. You will support the flow of inventory through the warehouse by handling materials, picking orders, and preparing outbound shipments in a fast-paced, physical environment.

Responsibilities

• Stage boxes and shipments in designated areas to ensure they are ready for loading onto trucks.
• Pick orders accurately from inventory according to work orders and shipping documentation.
• Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including moving, organizing, and consolidating stock.
• Support general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and arranging products in staging areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory handling while following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Lift and move items weighing 50+ pounds consistently during the shift.
• Work afternoon/second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work past 11:00 p.m. on Monday through Wednesday as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and follow direction from supervisors to meet daily shipping and staging targets.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient operation.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of warehouse experience in a distribution or similar environment.
• Proven experience with inventory handling and order picking.
• Ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to consistently lift and move 50+ pounds throughout the shift.
• Attention to detail to ensure accurate staging and picking of shipments.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively as part of a warehouse team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is an asset and can support faster advancement into higher-level roles.
• Comfort working in a distribution center environment with ongoing material movement and truck loading activities.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on a variety of general labor tasks as needed.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.92 - $19.92/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
