Job Title: Sanitation TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to join our team, working the overnight shift from 8:30 pm to 4:30 am, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays if extra sanitizing is required by the plant. This role is crucial in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment sanitation, including adjusting and removing conveyor belts, guards, and covers during maintenance and sanitation operations.
- Conduct specialized sanitation interventions on critical equipment.
- Support production or sanitation activities as needed.
- Assemble and disengage equipment requiring cleaning and sanitizing.
- Clean mixers, proofers, elevators, ovens, conveyors, scales, dividers, and other equipment according to job assignments.
Essential Skills
- Experience in sanitizing and food safety practices.
- Knowledge of HACCP standards.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively, as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
- Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in industrial cleaning equipment operation.
- Standing or walking 100% of the time.
- Must be able to carry, twist, bend, and stoop in conjunction with frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
