Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated HVAC Service Technician to add to our growing team. This technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Performs preventative maintenance, diagnoses equipment issues, ensures system efficiency, and delivers quality customer service while maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, rooftop units, chillers, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance and energy efficiency.
- Install, replace, and commission HVAC systems, components, controls, and refrigeration equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Test electrical components, motors, compressors, thermostats, sensors, and control systems using diagnostic tools.
- Recover, handle, and charge refrigerants in compliance with EPA and environmental regulations.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they result in system failures.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial and/or industrial HVAC service work experience.
- Proficient in troubleshooting RTUs, air handlers, boilers, chillers, and building automation systems.
- EPA Universal Certification.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured and drive a company vehicle.
- Michigan Mechanical License is a plus.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
