About this role
- Job Description :- Design and engineering of HV/EHV AIS & GIS substations (66kV to 765kV).
- Preparation of equipment specifications, layouts, BOQ/BOM, and design calculations (earthing, DSLP, battery sizing, short-circuit, conductor/equipment sizing, sag-tension, etc.).
- Development and review of SLD, GA, electrical layouts, earthing, cable trench layouts, illumination layouts, and vendor drawings.
- Expertise in switchyard layouts, equipment design, and various busbar schemes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of ETAP/CDEGS preferred.
- Coordination with civil, protection & control teams, vendors, and customers.
- Lead and mentor the design team, monitor project/tender deliverables, and ensure timely execution.
- Manage and supervise draftspersons/design engineers.
- Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards with the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
