Logistics Implementation Specialist

At DHL Supply Chain, we're looking for a Logistics Implementation Specialist to support the successful launch of new operations, customer start-ups, and strategic transformation projects across our network.
What you'll do
- Support the implementation of new customer operations, warehouse start-ups and transformation projects.
- Translate operational and solution design requirements into practical execution plans.
- Coordinate implementation activities during project execution, go-live and ramp-up phases.
- Ensure warehouse layouts, operational flows, resources, equipment and systems are implemented according to project objectives.
- Collaborate with Solution Design teams to validate operational feasibility and execution requirements.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), process validation and operational readiness assessments.
- Support the deployment and validation of WMS and operational systems.
- Monitor implementation progress, identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
- Work closely with Operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from project phase to business-as-usual activities.
- Support performance stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives following project launch.
- Act as the key operational reference point throughout the implementation lifecycle.
What we're looking for
- Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- A Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation Management is a plus.
- 3-5+ years of experience in Contract Logistics, Supply Chain, or 3PL environments.
- Experience in warehouse start-ups, implementations, or operational transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics processes.
- Knowledge of WMS and operational systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Availability to travel across Italy.
- Fluent English.
Salary package: €42,000 - €48,000 gross annual salary,
