Let's create impact beyond tomorrow What awaits you The Head of Project Management Department is responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the company's Project Management / Project Management Service functions, ensuring the successful execution of projects in terms of cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction. The role oversees the Project Management/ Project Management Service team, drives the adoption of project management standards and best practices, manages project governance, and directly supervises strategic and complex New Machines projects.
The position acts as a key interface between customers, subsidiaries, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved and business targets are met. Key responsabilities lead, coordinate, and develop the Project Management team and provide day-to-day operational support to Project Managers on assigned projects; monitor project execution to ensure compliance with approved budgets, schedules, quality requirements, and contractual commitments and ensure adherence to company policies, processes, and procedures; monitor and control project budgets and financial performance and implement actions to optimize costs and improve project profitability; minimize the impact of delays, penalties, and cost overruns through proactive project management; prepare and present regular reports on project status, portfolio performance, risks, and escalations and provide management with accurate and timely information regarding project progress and business impacts; act as Project Manager for strategic/critical New Machine projects, manage relationships and communications with end customers and Krones Group subsidiaries worldwide and ensure alignment between customer expectations and project execution; coordinate activities across the company's different Profit Centers and functional departments, ensure effective collaboration among engineering, production, procurement, service, and other project stakeholders.

Requirements
bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field; Proven experience in leading Project Management teams within industrial, manufacturing, machinery, or capital equipment environments and extensive experience managing complex international projects and customer-facing programs. Key Competencies strategic leadership, team development and coaching; decision making, conflict resolution and proactive problem solving capabilities; project and portfolio management; financial planning and cost control; risk management; process and continuous improvement oriented; strong organizational and planning skills; excellent communication and negotiation abilities; results-oriented mindset; customer-focused approach.
