Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Specialist for its S4 HANA Technical – Delivery team. The role involves end‑to‑end development of ABAP objects, CDS/RAP services, and SAPUI5/Fiori applications, as well as data migration, conversion, and production support for enterprise‑grade S/4HANA solutions.
- Design and implement ABAP objects, CDS views, RAP services, and OData APIs on S/4HANA.
- Develop and maintain SAPUI5/Fiori applications, ensuring performance and UI/UX standards.
- Perform data migration, master data copy, and conversion projects using ABAP reports and ALV.
- Create and execute unit tests (ABAP Unit) and support test automation.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure compliance with security and authorization objects.
- Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and deliver root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with functional consultants (SD/MM) to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimize ABAP code using AMDP, SQLScript, and HANA native capabilities.
- Participate in agile delivery cycles, sprint planning, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to documentation and knowledge base.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in ABAP on HANA, OO ABAP, and RAP/CDS development.
- Proven expertise in SAPUI5/Fiori and OData service creation.
- Strong knowledge of AMDP, SQLScript, and HANA performance tuning.
- Experience with BAPI, RFC, BDC, BADI, and ALV reporting.
- Familiarity with SAP SD and MM basics.
- Proficiency in ABAP Unit testing, design patterns (Singleton, Factory) and exception handling.
- Ability to work with version‑control and transport management.
- Good understanding of SAP BTP integration and authentication mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
