About the OpportunityOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Product Designer to join a highly strategic design and innovation team focused on shaping the future of digital experiences across mobile, web, and emerging platforms. This team operates as an internal innovation and design consultancy, partnering across multiple business areas to explore new ideas, develop future-state concepts, and influence the direction of customer-facing digital products. Designers on this team have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-impact initiatives rather than being dedicated to a single product roadmap.

This is an ideal opportunity for a designer who enjoys ambiguity, creative exploration, rapid prototyping, and developing innovative digital experiences that influence product strategy and vision. Position OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Product Designer with exceptional visual design, interaction design, and prototyping skills. This role is primarily focused on creating premium mobile experiences, with a particular emphasis on iOS, while also contributing across web and other digital platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong visual craft with the ability to translate concepts into polished, interactive prototypes that communicate product vision, influence stakeholders, and help bring new experiences to life. This role focuses heavily on visual product design, interface behavior, interaction design, and high-fidelity prototyping. It is not a UX research, content strategy, information architecture, motion graphics, or 3D design-focused position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design premium mobile and digital experiences with a primary focus on iOS applications.
• Create high-fidelity concepts, prototypes, and experience explorations that communicate product vision and future-state experiences.
• Design intuitive interactions, transitions, microinteractions, and interface behaviors that enhance user engagement.
• Translate strategic concepts and business objectives into compelling visual design solutions.
• Apply and extend existing design systems, component libraries, visual standards, and brand guidelines.
• Explore multiple creative directions and iterate based on stakeholder feedback.
• Present design concepts, prototypes, and recommendations to cross-functional teams and Senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Brand, and Design partners throughout the design process.
• Contribute to the evolution of design standards, reusable patterns, and future experience frameworks.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, interaction patterns, and design trends to help drive innovation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, Visual Design, Interaction Design, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience designing native mobile applications, particularly for iOS platforms.
• Exceptional visual design skills with a strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and execution.
• Demonstrated expertise in interaction design and creating engaging interface behaviors.
• Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools.
• Experience creating high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate product vision and user experiences.
• Strong understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, layout, composition, design systems, and modern UI patterns.
• Experience working within established design systems and component libraries.
• Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, and evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing premium consumer-facing digital products.
• Background working within agency, consultancy, innovation, studio, or design-led environments.
• Experience translating brand systems and visual guidelines into compelling digital experiences.
• Proven ability to present design concepts and recommendations to Senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled design, ideation, or prototyping tools.
• Experience contributing to exploratory, future-focused, or innovation-driven initiatives.

Portfolio RequirementsA portfolio is required and will be a significant component of the interview process. Strong portfolios should demonstrate:

• High-fidelity mobile product design work.
• Strong visual design craft and attention to detail.
• Interaction design and interface animation examples.
• Interactive prototypes that showcase product thinking and experience flows.
• Multiple design explorations and iterative design processes.
• Examples of collaboration and how concepts evolved through feedback.
• Effective application of design systems and brand standards across complete product experiences.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
