PC Technician - Asset Inventory Specialist (5-Week Project)

Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA (100% Onsite)Duration: 5 WeeksSchedule: Monday-Friday, Onsite

Overview

Our client in San Juan Capistrano is preparing for an enterprise-wide Epic implementation and is seeking several PC Technicians to support a large-scale workstation and peripheral inventory project. This is an excellent opportunity for IT professionals with strong hardware knowledge, attention to detail, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inventory audits of workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Document hardware assets, asset tags, and connected peripherals in spreadsheets and inventory tracking systems.
• Verify device information and ensure data accuracy.
• Follow established inventory procedures and project guidelines.
• Interact professionally with clinical and administrative staff while working in active healthcare environments.
• Communicate project updates and escalate discrepancies when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of PC support, desktop support, deployment, or hardware inventory experience.
• Ability to identify common IT hardware and peripherals.
• Experience documenting assets and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and processes precisely.
• Comfortable working onsite for the full 5-week project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous asset management, hardware deployment, refresh, or inventory experience.
• Experience working in healthcare, laboratory, or enterprise IT environments.
• Familiarity with Epic readiness projects or large-scale IT implementations is a plus.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of San Juan Capistrano, CA.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
