Job Title: Warehouse Worker Day ShiftJob DescriptionThe warehouse worker will support the shipping department by loading and unloading freight by hand, handling products that typically range from 3050 lbs, and using a pallet jack to move materials throughout the warehouse. This role involves consistent heavy lifting, order picking, and general labor tasks to ensure accurate and timely shipment of merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight by hand in the shipping department, handling items typically between 3050 lbs.
• Use a pallet jack to move pallets and materials safely and efficiently around the warehouse.
• Perform order picking and packing tasks using an RF gun to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
• Complete general labor duties such as organizing inventory, staging shipments, and maintaining clean work areas.
• Support shipping activities, including preparing orders for outbound shipment and assisting with incoming freight.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing heavy lifting and operating warehouse equipment.
• Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, to coordinate tasks with team members and supervisors.
• Work weekday day shifts and be available for mandatory weekend shifts during busy periods, including peak seasonal ramp-up.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic warehouse setting during peak seasons.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience using an RF gun in a warehouse or similar environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and comfortably throughout the workday.
• Experience in packing, picking, order picking, and general labor within a warehouse setting.
• Heavy lifting experience in a physically demanding role.
• Basic inventory handling experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working with e-commerce products and order fulfillment processes.
• Forklift experience or familiarity with forklift operations.
• Comfort working in a busy, high-volume warehouse during peak seasons.
• Interest in a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term employment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends during busy periods.

The dress code is casual, allowing comfortable clothing suitable for physical work and heavy lifting.

The standard shift runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with mandatory weekend work required during busy periods, including Saturdays and Sundays, and the need to be open to overtime when demand is high. Employees use pallet jacks and RF guns regularly and work closely with others in a physically demanding, team-oriented setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
