Maintenance Technician @ Aerotek

Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician responsible for performing preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems, as well as reading electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and conducting PLC/HMI diagnostics. You will also be responsible for machine startups, shutdowns, changeovers, equipment installations, and completing facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, and building repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Conduct PLC/HMI diagnostics.
• Perform machine startups, shutdowns, changeovers, and equipment installations.
• Complete facility maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, and building repairs.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Preventive maintenance knowledge.
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Ability to read schematics and perform PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical school or trade certification preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with CMMS systems preferred.
• HVAC knowledge and EPA 608 Certification.
• Bilingual capabilities.
• Experience in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
