Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Distribution Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a 26-foot box truck to deliver industrial supplies, equipment, and construction-related materials to general contractors, construction companies, and commercial customers throughout the region. This is a Monday-Friday, first shift position, and drivers are home every night. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service, safe driving practices, and on-time deliveries. A DOT Medical Card is required, but no CDL is needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26-foot box truck to transport industrial parts, supplies, and construction materials.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload products at customer locations.
• Deliver orders accurately and on schedule while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Review delivery paperwork and verify shipment accuracy.
• Communicate with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding delivery schedules and customer needs.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Assist in the warehouse with loading, receiving, inventory, or general duties as needed.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Essential Skills

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT Medical Card.
• Previous experience operating a box truck, delivery truck, or commercial vehicle preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs and handle industrial products and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to navigate delivery routes using maps, GPS, and delivery software.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with loading/unloading trucks and forklift operation.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and company safety policies.
