Assembler - Aerospace Manufacturing

Location: Mississauga, ONShift: Days (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM)Job OverviewOur client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking Assemblers to join their growing team in Mississauga. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling structural aircraft components using engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Assemble structural components using hand tools, power tools, rivet guns, sealants, and other approved equipment.
• Position, align, and fasten components using fixtures, templates, and measuring tools.
• Inspect assemblies to ensure proper fit, function, and compliance with specifications.
• Measure completed components using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and fit-up issues as required.
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Meet productivity and quality targets while performing repetitive assembly tasks.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of aerospace structural assembly, FLE assembly, or related manufacturing experience.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and rivet guns.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Aircraft structural assembly
• Riveting, drilling, fastening, and fit-up work
• Aerospace manufacturing environments
• Quality inspection and measurement processes

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
