Warehouse Associate @ Aerotek

Job Title: Warehouse Associate/Yard Worker - $22-$25/Hour - Mustang Nevada (Just outside Sparks, before USA parkway)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. In this role, you load and unload materials, handle inventory safely and efficiently, operate forklifts, and use RF scanners to pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery. You work closely with the warehouse team to ensure accurate shipping and receiving while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage and ensure safe storage and movement within the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift to move, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners and other warehouse tools.
• Pack orders securely and prepare them for delivery, including labeling and staging for shipment.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in deliveries, verifying documentation, and updating records.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse safety protocols.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members to complete daily workload and meet operational deadlines.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
• Ability to perform general material handling duties, including lifting, moving, and stacking products.
• Competency in using an RF scanner for picking, packing, and inventory tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy when picking and packing customer orders.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and warehouse protocols consistently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Experience with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and documentation.
• Familiarity with small warehouse operations and teamwork-oriented environments.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sparks, NV.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
