Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate

-Job Summary
- We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate with forklift experience to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory, and order fulfillment operations. This role involves operating forklifts and cherry pickers, picking and packing orders, processing incoming materials, and maintaining accurate inventory records in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
-Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately and safely.
- Operate forklifts and cherry pickers to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Process inbound shipments, customer returns, and inventory transactions.
- Perform inventory control tasks including RF scanning, cycle counts, and location management.
- Verify packing slips, shipping documentation, and order accuracy.
- Communicate inventory discrepancies and shipping issues to warehouse leadership.
- Support shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations.
-Required Qualifications
- 6+ months of forklift experience in a warehouse environment.
- Experience operating forklifts and/or cherry pickers safely.
- Shipping, receiving, order picking, and inventory experience.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse computer systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and work throughout an 8-hour shift.
-Work Environment:
- Large warehouse setting with active forklift traffic and material handling equipment. Position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, and operating warehouse equipment in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Shakopee, MN.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
