What You'll Do
As an Electrical or Mechanical Assembler, you'll help build and outfit custom concrete trucks and batching equipment by:
- Reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Installing and wiring lights, electrical systems, and vehicle components
- Assembling mechanical parts and hardware
- Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Measuring, cutting, and routing wire and components
- Using hand and power tools daily
- Inspecting completed work for quality and functionality
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues
- Working as part of a team to complete full vehicle builds
What We're Looking For
Required
- 6+ months of mechanical assembly, maintenance, automotive repair, construction, fabrication, or related hands-on experience
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Basic blueprint or schematic reading skills
- Ability to use a tape measure accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Bonus Experience
- Automotive technician or diesel mechanic background
- Electrical wiring experience
- Hydraulics and pneumatics experience
- Manufacturing or assembly experience
- Fabrication or carpentry experience

1st ShiftMonday-Thursday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMFriday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Mandatory OT)Saturday: 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Optional OT)50+ hours available weekly
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blair, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
