Job Title: Industrial Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, and repairs woodworking machinery and plant equipment to ensure maximum production uptime. This role performs both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on mechanical, electrical, dust collection, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with a strong focus on industrial woodworking equipment and facility support systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair woodworking machinery and plant equipment to support continuous and efficient production operations.
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and dust collection systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Diagnose and repair industry-specific woodworking equipment, including CNC routers, edgebanders, panel saws, grinders, and automated sanders.
- Monitor, maintain, and service industrial dust collection systems, air compressors, and dryers to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Complete assigned work orders and project tasks in between equipment breakdowns, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of work performed.
Essential Skills
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical drive systems, including installation, adjustment, and repair.
- Strong mechanical skills, including the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical components and assemblies.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and components used in industrial equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when diagnosing equipment issues.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Arthur, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64480.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
