Perform visual, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured parts Identify and document non-conforming products Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, microscopes, and optical comparators Record inspection data and maintain accurate quality documentation Read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications Assist with quality audits and support packaging and production teams as needed Utilize Excel and quality systems to track inspection results🎯 What We're Looking For
1+ year of manufacturing experience Experience performing quality inspections in a production environment Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, microscopes, or other measuring equipment Ability to read work instructions, specifications, and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills Comfortable working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment Eligible to work in an ITAR-regulated environment Preferred Experience
CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) experience Optical Comparator experience ISO 9000 / Quality Management Systems knowledge SPC (Statistical Process Control) exposure Cleanroom or microelectronics manufacturing experienceWhy Join Us?

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
